I spent years in private industry, healthcare working with diabetes measurement instruments, lab analyzer connectivity, and point of care systems.  During that time I was a part-time instructor in the Electrical Engineering Technology programs.  I left industry to teach full-time in the Healthcare Technology Engineering Management program which teaches students about the maintenance and repair of all devices used in patient care.  The focus is specifically hospital and clinic based devices.
