Mike Reckowsky, director of industry relations in Purdue Polytechnic, says companies that sponsor students’ senior capstone projects receive working prototypes that address real-world problems. Industry sponsors also build relationships with professors and with students qualified to become future members of their workforce. Students’ two-semester capstone projects are displayed during Tech Expo, an event that showcases our students’ innovative solutions to the challenges their sponsors gave them. Mike also tells us how he became coach of the Purdue Rifle Team and the new orator for Purdue's commencement ceremonies.
