Greg J. Strimel, Ph.D., is an educator and researcher driven by a passion for creating engaging, hands-on learning experiences that empower all students to think, act, and learn like innovators, designers, leaders, and engineers. He serves as an associate professor of engineering technology education at Purdue University and coordinates the Design & Innovation Minor. Dr. Strimel also serves as the Deputy Director for the SCALE K–12 Microelectronics Pre-College Workforce Development Initiative. Dr. Strimel has been recognized with the Distinguished Technology & Engineering Educator designation from the International Technology & Engineering Educators Association, Purdue’s Student Organization Adviser of the Year Award (2020), Purdue’s Exceptional Early Career Teaching Award (2021), and Purdue's Charles B. Murphy Outstanding Undergraduate Teaching Award (2023).
