Greg J. Strimel, Ph.D., is an educator and researcher driven by a passion for creating engaging, hands-on learning experiences that empower all students to think, act, and learn like innovators, designers, and engineers. He serves as an associate professor and interim department head in the Department of Technology Leadership & Innovation at Purdue University, where he coordinates the Design & Innovation Minor, prepares future K–12 Engineering Technology Teachers, and supports the graduate student program in STEM education leadership. Dr. Strimel also serves as the Deputy Director for the SCALE K–12 Microelectronics Pre-College Workforce Development Initiative. Dr. Strimel has been recognized with the Distinguished Technology & Engineering Educator designation from the International Technology & Engineering Educators Association, Purdue’s Student Organization Adviser of the Year Award (2020), Purdue’s Exceptional Early Career Teaching Award (2021), and Purdue's Charles B. Murphy Outstanding Undergraduate Teaching Award (2023).
