Cassie was born and raised in Ossian, IN (just south of Fort Wayne) and a is proud Purdue alumni. She earned her Bachelor's Degree with a double major in Applied Exercise & Health as well as Movement & Sports Science in 2014. She also earned her Master's Degree from Purdue in Sports Management in 2016.

Cassie first worked with Purdue's Center for Instructional Excellence as a student worker, then as a Purdue Football Academic Mentor, and finally a Purdue Football Academic Student Services Intern before coming to the Purdue Polytechnic Institute as an Academic Advisor for the School of Engineering Technology. As of August 2021, she's the Senior Academic Advisor in Technology Leadership & Innovation. 

She's a Boilermaker through and through. In her free time you will find her watching sports of all kinds (especially Purdue), crafting, spending time with her dogs and son.
