With lectures in Systems Analysis and Design and the Ethics of Information Technology, Dr. Ledbetter plays a pivotal role in shaping students' academic journey at Purdue Polytechnic Institute. Professor Ledbetter has demonstrated a commitment to fostering autonomy and teamwork among students, essential Computer and Information Technology attributes. He emphasizes creating a supportive learning environment that encourages independent thinking and collaborative problem-solving. 

In response to the challenges posed by the COVID-19 pandemic, Dr. Ledbetter exhibited adaptability and innovation in his teaching approach. He implemented modifications to course structures and provided additional support for remote learning, resulting in improved student outcomes and satisfaction. Professor Ledbetter has research interests in Help Speech, as described in this ARC GIS storymap, and the role of trust in communication and how it can be fostered by pedagogy.
