Purdue Aviation Day is Purdue University's largest 100% student-run event, organized by students in the School of Aviation and Transportation Technology and held annually at the Purdue University Airport. This free, public event brings together aviation professionals, students and the Greater Lafayette community for a full day celebrating the past, present and future of aviation. Designed to inspire and connect people of all ages, it serves as both a community celebration and an opportunity to explore careers, technology and innovation within the aviation industry.
Attendees can experience aviation up close through aircraft displays ranging from historic planes to modern military and commercial aircraft, along with interactive exhibits, guest speakers, live entertainment and family-friendly activities.
