Tianyi Li is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer and Information Technology at Purdue University. As an HCI systems researcher, she creates AI-infused, community-centered interfaces that empower human–AI teams to tackle domain-specific decisions. Her research integrates design, experimental, and computational methods to understand users, build collective intelligence via crowdsourcing, and facilitate and evaluate human-AI interactions.
Perspective Students:
I am always looking to work with enthusiastic students! I am currently looking for students excited about doing work at the intersection of HCI, computing education, and intelligent user interfaces. Undergraduate and graduate students who would like to join my group should feel free to e-mail me at li4251+perspective@purdue.edu. Please include information about yourself (e.g., your major, degrees, CV/resume, and transcript) and a brief statement about your research interest. I would like to work with students with diverse backgrounds, including computer science, information technology, psychology, engineering, and/or related disciplines.
