Construction Management Technology Research
The School of Construction Management Technology at Purdue Polytechnic conducts research in construction automation, building information modeling (BIM), digital twins in construction, smart cities, construction safety, occupational health, lean construction, and construction project management. Faculty and students examine innovative methods and digital tools that improve safety, efficiency, and sustainability across the built environment. In FY25, the school secured approximately $3.5 million in research funding, highlighting its growing impact and industry relevance. Through interdisciplinary collaborations and strong partnerships, the school advances both fundamental knowledge and applied solutions that strengthen the future of construction and infrastructure systems.
