Connor Kelley

Electrical Engineering Technology
Controls Engineer at Allison Transmission

Describe your potential job duties:

I will continue development on a new assembly line, as well as providing daily support on the current system.

In what ways did the Polytechnic and/or Purdue help make you uniquely qualified for your new job?

Purdue Polytechnic's great lab facilities and world-class professors, many of whom were once industry professionals, prepared me very well for a real-world manufacturing environment.

Who would you like to thank as you finish your time at Purdue and start your career?

I would like to thank Professor April Cheung, Professor Grant Richards, and Professor Raji Sundararajan for their tireless work in furthering student education.

If you had a favorite class, project, experience, or professor, what/who was it, and why?

My favorite experience in the Polytechnic was the senior capstone project. Getting to work with a medical device startup company to develop a product from the start was a unique and valuable experience.
