A leader in the human spaceflight industry, Cooper's field of expertise lies in management of mission planning, mission operations, and the commercialization of Low Earth Orbit (LEO) for human spaceflight. As the Mission Integration and Operations Supervisor, Cooper leads a team of 35+ persons working in and around NASA's Mission Control in support of various human spaceflight programs; while as Intern Director, he instructs, develops, and supports the next generation of aerospace, system, and integration engineers.

A graduate of Purdue University's College of Technology with a B.S. in Aeronautical Engineering Technology and an M.S. in Aerospace Management, Cooper continues to serve his Alma Mater through various Boards positions pertaining to curriculum development and alumni relations.
