Denis Bershevits

Denis Bershevits graduated with a BS in Network Engineering Technology and is currently pursuing a Master of Science in Cybersecurity Risk and Strategy from NYU School of Law, expected May 2026. He has held various roles at Eli Lilly including DDI Engineer, LAN Engineer, Senior LAN Segmentation Engineer, Network Security Consultant, Network Security Engineer, and Network Architect. Denis currently serves as an Advisor in Cybersecurity Architecture and Squad Lead on the Security Architecture & Engineering (SAE) team at Eli Lilly and Company.

In his current role, Denis leads security assessments and threat modeling for projects across Lilly's technology landscape, with a focus on AI/ML platform security and cloud infrastructure across AWS, Azure, and GCP environments. He manages vendor security evaluations and develops security requirements for emerging technologies and high-visibility initiatives. Denis holds several GIAC certifications including Security Essentials (GSEC), Certified Incident Handler (GCIH), Assessing and Auditing Wireless Networks (GAWN), Penetration Tester (GPEN), and Cloud Penetration Tester (GCPN), alongside CCNA, ITILv3 Foundations, Splunk, and Infoblox CDCA certifications.
