What made you decide to choose your specific major?
I have always wanted to study engineering, and MET allows me to pursue my dream while also gaining valuable hands on experience.
What are a couple of your favorite things about your program of study?
I like all of the hands on experience I get in all of my classes.
What has been on of your favorite class projects?
Modeling a Little Blazer Engine using CAD in MFET 103
What other activities are you involved in on campus?
I am in the Purdue Running Club. I have also previously participated in the Purdue Grand Prix.
What do you know about your program of study now that you wish someone had told you when you were choosing a major?
If you are a hands on learner like me, Mechanical Engineering Technology is perfect for you! In most classes you take, your labs will have you doing real experiments just like in the real world.
What would be one piece of advice for prospective students or new Purdue students?
Don't be afraid to try new things! College is all about trying new things and meeting new people.
