Indiana Next Generation Manufacturing Competitiveness Center (IN-MaC), in partnership with Purdue University and STEM Education Works, are investing in Design and Innovation Studios™ across the state of Indiana. The studios provide a variety of opportunities for schools, educators, students, and industry to discover new ways to explore design thinking, problem-solving, technology, and creative skill sets. Developing and offering industry-education activities and curriculum for users to cultivate the next generation of high-tech thinkers and doers. The studios provide hands-on experience with additive manufacturing, robotics, coding, engineering and science learning modules.
"One of the best decisions I have made as principal was incorporating STEM into our daily schedule. Our partnership with Purdue IN-MaC has taken our program to the next level by growing and expanding the opportunities for students in STEM areas. Students in grade K-5 are coding, 3D printing, building robots, flying drones, and so much more each day. This is all possible because of the Design and Innovation Studio equipment and curriculum. Now, our elementary students do not have to wait until high school or college to start preparing for their future in STEM fields."
Todd Reagan, Wes-Del Elementary School Principal
