Purdue Polytechnic in South Bend celebrated its class of 2025-26 graduates on Monday, May 11, during a commencement ceremony held at 6 p.m. in the Little Theatre at the Moreau Center for the Arts. The event recognized the accomplishments of students earning Bachelor of Science degrees across diverse technological fields.

The ceremony featured an address to the candidates by Kenneth A. Burbank, professor emeritus of the School of Engineering Technology. Burbank offered words of encouragement and insight to the graduating class.
The evening began with a processional and "The Star-Spangled Banner." Sarah E. Leach delivered the invocation. Elizabeth Kerns, director of Purdue Polytechnic South Bend, delivered the welcome and introductory remarks.
Arlene Marie Bator, a Bachelor of Science recipient in industrial engineering technology, delivered the class response. She shared reflections on behalf of her fellow graduates.
Kerns presented the class, conferred the degrees, and introduced the individual graduates. Rebecca Lindenman welcomed the new alumni into the St. Joseph Valley Purdue Alumni Association. Kerns provided graduate recognition and closing remarks.
The graduating class received degrees in fields including electrical engineering technology, industrial engineering technology, and mechanical engineering technology.
