Purdue Polytechnic's Indianapolis International Airport site honors aviation class of 2025-26 at commencement ceremony

Purdue Polytechnic in Indianapolis celebrated its class of 2025-26 aviation graduates on Saturday, May 9, during a commencement ceremony held at 2 p.m. at the Aviation Technology Center. The event recognized the accomplishments of 13 students earning Bachelor of Science degrees in aeronautical technology.

Purdue Polytechnic in Indianapolis serves as a vital hub for aviation education. The Aviation Technology Center provides students with direct access to the Indianapolis International Airport and numerous aerospace career opportunities.

The ceremony featured a keynote address to the candidates by Quinn B. Ricker, chief executive officer of Jet Access Group. Ricker offered words of encouragement and insight to the graduating class.

The afternoon began with a processional, a presentation of colors by the Weir Cook Cadet Squadron of the Civil Air Patrol, and "The Star-Spangled Banner." Jason A. Napier delivered the invocation. Brian G. Dillman, head of the School of Aviation and Transportation Technology, delivered the welcome and introductory remarks.

Gavin Michael Bramel, a Bachelor of Science recipient in aeronautical technology, delivered the class response. He shared reflections on behalf of his fellow graduates.

Ryan P. Reeves presented the class. Dillman conferred the degrees. Desiree J. Cochran introduced the individual graduates. Kendra K. Lewis welcomed the new alumni into the Purdue Alumni of Indianapolis network. Dillman provided graduate recognition and closing remarks.

The graduating class received degrees in aeronautical technology.
