Regina Brown holds a Bachelor of Science in Early Childhood Education from the University of Southern Indiana. She began working for Purdue University in the fall of 2011 in the Computer Graphics Technology Department as a temporary secretary. She was hired on full time in October of 2011. In the summer of 2015 she was promoted to the Administrative Assistant position within the department. In the spring of 2019 job titles were changed and she became the Senior Administrative Assistant for the CGT Department. Then in January 2022 Regina was promoted to Lead Administrative Assistant. In July 2023 she received another promotion to Executive Assistant.
Regina joined the Indiana Manufacturing Competitiveness Center (IN-MaC) in the School of Engineering Technology in October 2024 as their Operations Specialist. She is excited about the new opportunities and connections across the state that this role will provide.
Before her time at Purdue University she worked in a few different school systems with children from pre-school through third grade as a lead teacher, aide, ESL teacher, and as a substitute. She enjoyed her time working with these students and has fond memories from her time as a teacher.
Regina lives in the Lafayette area with her family and enjoys going to her kids baseball and volleyball games, attending Purdue and St. Louis Cardinals games, hiking, reading, going on bike rides, travel, and Disney.
