Corben Meyer is a Senior Lecturer in the School of Aviation and Transportation Technology at Purdue University. Corben is an experienced aerobatic pilot, and he is very knowledgeable on GA aircraft. He owns and operates numerous aircraft and lives on a private grass runway. Corben also restores, builds, and flies Vintage and EAB aircraft out of his hangar. He aspires to compete in the Reno Air Races.
Corben graduated from the Purdue Polytechnic School of Aviation and Transportation Technology, earning his Bachelors in Science in Aeronautical Engineering Technology, A&P, and Pilot’s license. After graduation, Corben flew fixed wing and multi-rotor drones for the Department of Energy through the ARPA-E program. In 2016, Corben started work at GE Aerospace in Lafayette where he worked for 7 years on the LEAP Jet program.
