With over 25 years of experience spanning field engineering, project management, and industry outreach, I bring a deep passion for building—both in the physical world and in relationships that connect academia with industry. Currently, I serve as the Industry Outreach Specialist for Purdue University's School of Construction Management Technology, where I help bridge the gap between students and the real-world opportunities awaiting them.

My professional journey began in construction scheduling and field engineering, with roles at Enerfab, Graycor, and Parsons, before spending a decade managing projects for Purdue University. Throughout, I’ve developed a love for data-driven decision-making—especially when using tools like Excel and Access to bring order to complexity.

A proud Boilermaker, I earned my degree from Purdue in 1995 and have been a passionate supporter of Purdue sports ever since. I’m equally passionate about teamwork, whether it's on the job or from my years playing recreational volleyball, basketball, and softball.

Raised on a hog farm in Northwest Indiana and helping my parents run the local Dairy Queen, I learned the value of hard work early—starting my first job at just 10 years old. I even helped build my family home while still in high school. Life has kept me busy and fulfilled, with three amazing kids (ages 24, 22, and 11) and a sweet pit mix named Lacy by my side.

In 2020 and again in 2022, I faced—and survived—breast cancer. That experience deepened my appreciation for resilience, perspective, and the power of community support.

I bring heart, humor, and hands-on experience to everything I do—and I love helping students, partners, and colleagues see the possibilities in construction, collaboration, and community.
