Marcy was born and raised on four and a half acres near Buck Creek, IN, and is a proud Purdue Global alumnus. In 2023, she earned her Bachelor of Science in business administration with a concentration in project management.
Marcy has been with Purdue since 2009, starting as a secretary IV in the Department of Biology. She then transitioned to various roles, including office manager/secretarial pool supervisor in Biology, executive assistant to the Director of International Programs in Agriculture, and administrative assistant for LASER PULSE. She then further honed her skills as the operations manager for LASER PULSE until the grant ended. She then transitioned to the operations manager at Purdue Applied Research Institute (PARI) for a grant in Health, Food, and Agriculture Resilience (HFAR) before coming to the Purdue Polytechnic Institute.
Outside of her professional life, Marcy has diverse interests. She enjoys spending quality time with her husband, watching sports, crafting, gardening, and visiting the Indiana Dunes to bask in the sun and water. These personal interests not only enrich her life but also contribute to her well-rounded personality.
