David L. Stanley is a faculty member at the Purdue Polytechnic Indianapolis location and is a Professor in the Aviation and Transportation Technology School at Purdue University, West Lafayette. His teaching focus has been largely on aviation operations and management topics in recent years, and powerplant technology and aviation fuels, over the years. In addition to his work for the development and delivery of courses in the Aeronautical Technology program at Indianapolis, he is interested developing and promoting educational opportunities for those working in the aerospace and air transportation industries.
