Dr. Sunghwan Lee is an Associate Professor in the SOET at Purdue University since 2019. Prior to Purdue, he was with Baylor University, USA for three years as an Assistant Professor of Mechanical Engineering and Materials Science. He earned his Ph.D. degree in Materials Engineering from Brown University, USA. He spent 2.5 years at M.I.T and Harvard University as Post-Doctoral Scientist before starting his faculty career.
His current research focuses on the field of advanced processing of multi-functional materials and their device applications with the following keywords: Flexible and Transparent Electronics, Multi-functional Materials, Energy, and Sensing with engineered Thin Film Materials.
Dr. Lee has published over 60 journal papers and 85 conference proceedings/abstracts in the literature and has given over 45 invited talks and seminars.
