Program Description
The International Construction Management Study Abroad in Ireland course offers students an in-depth comparative analysis of global construction practices, heritage preservation, and site safety management systems. The program contrasts standard U.S. construction methodologies (OSHA compliance, site
management practices, steel/wood framing) with European Union and Irish industry standards (Building Control Amendment Regulations - BCAR) regulations, Irish Health and Safety Authority (HSA) safety standards, masonry restoration, and dense urban brownfield logistics).
