Human Resource Development students earn second place at inaugural ATMAE case study competition

A team of four students from Purdue Polytechnic’s Human Resource Development (HRD) program has earned second place at the first-ever Undergraduate Case Study Competition, hosted by the Association of Technology, Management, and Applied Engineering (ATMAE) in Memphis, Tennessee.

The ATMAE Case Study Competition is a new national event that challenges students to tackle a complex, real-world business problem. Teams are presented with a case study from an industry partner and must work under a tight deadline to analyze the situation, develop a comprehensive strategic solution, and present their findings to a panel of expert judges.

The Purdue team—comprised of Colleen Schneider, Brett Nuzzo, Max Wille and Taylor Frazier—was recognized for their innovative solutions, outstanding strategy, teamwork, and professionalism.

The ATMAE competition tests the exact skills the HRD program is designed to cultivate: critical thinking, practical problem-solving and effective communication in a professional setting.
