Karabiyik, Kocsis named Purdue University Faculty Scholars

Purdue Polytechnic is proud to announce that associate professors Umit Karabiyik and Jin Wei-Kocsis have been named Purdue University Faculty Scholars. This prestigious recognition honors outstanding faculty who are on an accelerated path toward academic distinction.

The University Faculty Scholar Program, administered through the Office of the Provost, supports faculty members who have shown exceptional scholarly contributions and leadership in their disciplines. Scholars are selected through a rigorous nomination and review process and receive a five-year designation along with funding to support their continued research and academic initiatives.
