Lucietto honored by Society of Women Engineers

Anne Lucietto, a professor in Purdue Polytechnic’s School of Engineering Technology, has been named a 2025 Distinguished Engineering Educator Award recipient by the Society of Women Engineers (SWE) for her significant contributions to the engineering and technology community.

The Society of Women Engineers, a leading global advocate for women in engineering, recognized Lucietto for her "outstanding achievements, leadership, and contributions," noting that her work "exemplify SWE’s mission and serve as an inspiration to others around the world."

Lucietto will be formally honored during WE25, the world’s largest conference and career fair for women engineers and technologists. The event is scheduled to take place in New Orleans from Oct. 23–25, 2025.
