Purdue Polytechnic in Richmond celebrated its class of 2025-26 graduates on Wednesday, May 13, during a commencement ceremony held at 4 p.m. at the Forest Hills Country Club. The event recognized the accomplishments of nine students earning degrees across diverse technological fields.

The ceremony featured an address to the candidates by Jared Spitler, a mechanical development engineer at Henny Penny Corporation. Spitler offered words of encouragement and insight to the graduating class.
The afternoon began with a processional. Christy Tollett, location director, served as the master of ceremonies and delivered the welcome and introductory remarks.
Derek Bush, a Bachelor of Science recipient in mechanical engineering technology, delivered the class response. He shared reflections on behalf of his fellow graduates.
