Team 14 - Biomimetic Platform for Swarm Aiming​

With sea conditions limiting accuracy of surface naval equipment, there is an increased need for a motion dampened platform with modular robots strong enough to withstand the rough sea conditions while still moving and aiming accurately in a swarm. With individual operating systems lacking speed and accuracy, a multi modular system would allow each module to have high precision in a small window with the neighbored modules working together to cover a full area.

Black Hawk Seals

We are operating a test bench to test seals for Black Hawk Seals and deliver test information about seal performance and how it performs under load. More specifically our part of the project will focus on adding digital integration to the testing by adding the ability to read and write tests through SQL, control it through the internet, and enable extensibility with a modern PLC system. We hope our project can showcase how industry can use new and evolving technologies to improve their testing processes.
