Dr. Esra Tepeli holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering and a Master’s degree in Residential Construction Management, with a double major in construction project and risk management. She earned her Ph.D. in construction project management and risk management from the University of Bordeaux, where she focused on managing complex and strategic construction projects, such as Public-Private Partnerships (PPP), design-build-maintenance, and transportation projects, in collaboration with Vinci Construction France. Following her Ph.D., Dr. Tepeli became an academic faculty member, teaching various construction and project management courses at both undergraduate and graduate levels. Her research and teaching focus on project and risk management, construction management, and building information modeling. Dr. Tepeli is an active member of the Project Management Institute (PMI), holding a PMP (Project Management Professional) certification. She has conducted project management mentoring and outreach projects and presented at global conferences and events hosted by multiple PMI chapters.
