Dr. Matthew Turner is an Associate Professor of ECET at New Albany where he teaches courses in communications, controls and electric power systems. Matt has a Ph.D. in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Louisville, where he developed MEMs based implantable biomedical sensors for glaucoma therapy. Prior to joining the faculty at Purdue, Matt worked as a researcher at the Conn Center for Renewable Energy Research in the area of power and energy systems, with a focus on energy and public policy issues, smart grid modeling and electric vehicle charging.
