This is one of three majors offered in the Purdue Polytechnic Institute for students who seek to contribute at the intersection between manufacturing, electrical, mechanical, and computing areas in primarily industrial environments.

When you major in robotics engineering technology, you will develop and apply robotic solutions to a broad range of industrial and consumer problems. Robots help people and companies be more productive and safer, and they help explore more frontiers.

The manufacturing engineering technology program is accredited by the Engineering Technology Accreditation Commission of ABET,, under the commission’s general criteria and program criteria for Manufacturing Engineering Technology and similarly named programs.

Internship and study abroad opportunities, hands-on lab experiences, independent and team projects, leadership events, mentorship opportunities with Women in Technology and the department - all of these opportunities have made me feel like a well-rounded candidate for my upcoming job.
