Aerospace Studies Minor
Aerospace Studies Minor
The Aerospace Studies minor provides students with a comprehensive understanding of leadership, teamwork, communication, and national security within the context of the U.S. Air Force and Space Force. Students will develop a strong foundation in the Air Force Core Values while learning essential leadership and followership skills through practical exercises and field training preparation. As they progress, they will refine their leadership approaches, enhance their ability to communicate effectively in professional military formats, and analyze ethical considerations in decision-making. In the final stages, students will explore national security policies, military roles in society, and the responsibilities of Air and Space Force officers, equipping them with the knowledge and skills necessary for a successful transition into a commissioned officer role. Through this minor, students gain both theoretical and applied expertise that prepares them for leadership in the military or related fields.
