Engineering Technology Research

The School of Engineering Technology at Purdue Polytechnic advances research in smart manufacturing, Industry 4.0, robotics, physical AI, embedded systems, sustainable energy, smart grids, applied technology in health sensors, and experiential engineering design. Faculty and students develop solutions that integrate advanced technologies with practical applications to improve industrial productivity, enhance energy systems, and support innovations in healthcare and engineered products. In FY25, the school secured approximately $4.3 million in research funding, reflecting its strong contributions to both applied research and industry impact. Through interdisciplinary collaborations and state-of-the-art laboratories, the school drives innovation at the intersection of technology, engineering, and real-world application.
