When to reach out to a
specific campus department
- Personal and student-specific questions relating to financial aid, scholarships, funding your education, costs associated with attending Purdue University in your specific program, and any other financial questions – Reach out to the Department of Financial Aid
- Concerns or questions relating to your admissions decision, appealing admissions decisions, requesting a change of major or location, issues with the Purdue application portal, or questions relating to accepting your offer – Reach out to the Office of Admissions
- Inquiries relating to transfer credit, the Indiana Common Core, creating a plan of study, scheduling classes, advising processes, adding minors, double majoring, and participating in the Degree+ or 4+1 programs – Speak with your Academic Advisor – NOTE: You will not be assigned an academic advisor until after you have completed the Purdue 101 self-guided modules AND the advising/registration window has opened in June. Please do not reach out to the advisors before then as they will not speak with prospective or newly admitted students until your registration window.
