Visit Options for high school students who have not yet applied to Purdue
High school students who have not yet applied to Purdue and their family members have options for visiting the Polytechnic Institute on Purdue University’s West Lafayette campus. The visit(s) you choose depend on your personal interests, sight-seeing goals and where you are in your college selection process.
Purdue Polytechnic Information Sessions
Note: Current seniors admitted to Purdue should sign up for an admitted student event above.
Note: Airport visit is not included and must be scheduled separately.
The walking tour of Purdue Polytechnic takes place inside Knoy Hall and/or the adjacent Dudley and Lambertus Halls. The tour visits the following Polytechnic academic departments/schools:
- Computer Graphics Technology
- Computer and Information Technology
- Construction Management Technology
- Engineering Technology
Aviation Technology
Airport Visit
Specialized tours of the Polytechnic’s School of Aviation and Transportation Technology are taken separately from Polytechnic Information Sessions. Both high school students who have not applied to Purdue and high school students who have applied to an aviation major at Purdue are invited to attend.
These sessions include a presentation by the Recruitment Coordinator followed by a tour of the Purdue Airport and facilities. Guests will learn about Purdue’s Aviation majors, student projects, careers and more! The information session and tour lasts approximately 1.5 hours to 2 hours.
