Research

The School of Engineering Technology at Purdue Polytechnic advances research in smart manufacturing, Industry 4.0, robotics, physical AI, embedded systems, sustainable energy, smart grids, applied technology in health sensors, and experiential engineering design. Faculty and students develop solutions that integrate advanced technologies with practical applications to improve industrial productivity, enhance energy systems, and support innovations in healthcare and engineered products.

Research

The School of Construction Management Technology at Purdue Polytechnic conducts research in construction automation, building information modeling (BIM), digital twins in construction, smart cities, construction safety, occupational health, lean construction, and construction project management. Faculty and students examine innovative methods and digital tools that improve safety, efficiency, and sustainability across the built environment. In FY25, the school secured approximately $3.5 million in research funding, highlighting its growing impact and industry relevance.
