What is SOURCE?
SOURCE creates models that research universities can use to make convergence education a natural, supported, and flourishing part of undergraduate learning.
SOURCE (Scaling Our Undergraduate Real-world Convergence Education) is a National Science Foundation-funded initiative advancing how universities prepare students to solve complex, real-world problems.

What is Convergence Education?
CE asks students to connect knowledge across disciplines, work on authentic problems, learn in diverse teams, integrate human, technical, and business perspectives, and design and test innovative solutions.
How We Approach the Work
SOURCE uses a Communities of Transformation model with shared philosophy, cross-college collaboration, ethnography, design-based research, and networks of faculty, students, and partners.
Our M3 Foundation
The Mission-Meaning-Making framework combines business perspectives, liberal arts perspectives, and technology and engineering practices while helping students keep their disciplinary identity.
