Fridays: 1:30-3:30 pm ET

Hours subject to change.

Current CIT Students:  Current CIT Students may schedule appointments in Boiler Connect - requires 12 hour lead time to schedule appointment. If you need assistance for same day information, please send me an email and I will schedule time with you if possible.

All students: if my door is open and I am not with another guest, please feel from to stop in for for walk-ins questions up to 15 minutes. If you will need more time, I will schedule an appointment with you.

To join my virtual office hours please go to my meeting room here, https://purdue.webex.com/meet/armurphy. When you first go to join me in my WebEx, you will be "parked" in a waiting room until I add you to join. This is to ensure no students can come in while I am meeting with another student. If you prefer a phone call, please email me during the scheduled times and I will call when available. These drop ins are for no more than 15 minutes. These may be the only times available for questions outside of scheduled registration appointments.  Please feel free to utilize these times.

Virtual Open Office Hours this Week:

  • Tuesday, October 26, 2021 - 9:00 am - 10:00 am ET
  • Thursday, October 28, 2021 - 10:30 am - 12:00 pm ET

To join my virtual office hours please go to my meeting room here, https://purdue.webex.com/meet/klein85. When you first go to join me in my WebEx, you will be "parked" in a waiting room until I add you to join. This is to ensure no students can come in while I am meeting with another student. As always, open office hours will be short appointments; so no more than 10 minutes. Simply hang tight in the lobby area and when it is your turn, I will let you in to the room. I appreciate your patience while I may be wrapping up another meeting prior to meeting with you.

Other ways to connect with me:

At this time, I am not taking in person meetings but can discuss concerns via email (be sure to use your Purdue email!) and WebEx virtual meetings. Boiler Connect is available for students to schedule appointments with me outside of office hours during times I am available. Note: You cannot book an appointment sooner than 12 hours out, so plan accordingly. You will receive an email confirmation upon scheduling an appointment that will include information on how to access my web chat.

Ways to connect with me:

The CIT Advising office will no longer be holding open office hours, but rather we have moved to an open door policy to create more flexibility for students to stop by. What does this mean? Simply drop by our office and we are happy to help as long as we are not with another student. This goal is to create more flexibility for student schedules, so we look forward to seeing you all throughout the week.

BoilerConnect is available for students assigned to me to schedule appointments with me. You will receive an email confirmation upon scheduling an appointment that will include information on how to access my web chat or my office location, dependent on the route by which you chose to meet. https://purdue.campus.eab.com/pal/Wshmz7aVQr

If you are not assigned to me and wish to meet, please email me at ljlucas@purdue.edu with your availability and preferred meeting method, and I will schedule a meeting time.

Please feel free to email me at ljlucas@purdue.edu. Please know that I am still here to help, so do not hesitate to reach out with any and all questions. If you are having trouble finding resources, please reach out so I can help connect you.

You may also call me at 765-494-0364; please leave a detailed voicemail if I do not answer and include your phone number. I will return all calls as soon as possible.
