Internal Advisory Boards

The Internal Advisory Board is composed of key stakeholders and leaders within Purdue University who provide strategic guidance and support to the Applied AI Research Center. It ensures that activities align with the broader mission and goals of Purdue Polytechnic and Purdue University, fostering collaboration and resource-sharing across the institution.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Provide advice on the center’s strategic direction, research priorities, and initiatives.
• Ensure alignment with Purdue’s broader goals and initiatives.
• Promote interdisciplinary collaboration across different centers and departments at Purdue.
• Advocate for the center within the Purdue community.
• Review and assess the center’s performance, providing constructive feedback and recommendations.
• Help in identifying areas for improvement and growth.

External Advisory Boards

The External Advisory Board consists of industry leaders, practitioners, and experts from outside Purdue who provide an external perspective on the center’s activities and strategic direction. It ensures that the research and initiatives are relevant to industry needs, and that the Center maintains strong connections with the external research and innovation ecosystem.

• Provide insight into industry trends, challenges, and needs.
• Ensure that research and initiatives are aligned with industry demands.
• Facilitate partnerships with industry, government, and other external entities.
